Assigned Teachers
Your child's teacher will contact you on Thursday, August 28, 2025. At this time, teachers will also share more specific information about their assigned morning meeting spot where they will meet their teacher on the first day of school. Please be patient when waiting for their email. On the first day, all Gr.1-6 students will meet their teacher in the designated outside spot and then as a class enter the school through the compound door. Kindergarten will have a designated entrance door, the main office entrance, and will meet their teachers outside on the front entrance way on the first day of school. The kindergarten teacher will contact families with details.

Fridays Early Dismissal Days - Dismissal 12:30 PM

Monday to Thursday - Entry 8:40 AM - 11:29 PM
Kindergarten P.M.
Monday to Thursday - Entry 12:26 PM - 3:15 PM
Kindergarten Fridays
Friday - Entry 8:40 AM - 12:30pm
*AM and PM Kindergarten students will be attending specific Fridays, please refer to school calendar for specific dates your student will attend.

Kindergarten
Kindergarten plays an important role in engaging young children as active participants, building knowledge about themselves and the social and natural words.
Lunch Supervision
Briar Hill does not have a CBE operated lunch program. Parents may apply for lunch supervision as well as before/after care through the Society of Briar Hill Children’s Programs.

School Supplies
Students supplies are provided by the school for children in kindergarten through Grade 6. Families are to provide indoor shoes, backpacks, lunch, and snacks. You may also choose to send your child with a water bottle.

Off-Site Activities
