Briar Hill Families
"To belong is to be part of something greater than ourselves." — Brené Brown
As we head into the long weekend, it’s worth pausing to reflect on what has been another truly wonderful week at Briar Hill School. Each day, our classrooms and hallways are filled with curiosity, creativity, and a strong sense of belonging, reflecting the welcoming and inclusive learning environment we strive to create together. Briar Hill is more than just a school—it is an exemplary learning community where students, staff, and families work together to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a supportive and vibrant community, and we are proud of the care, effort, and enthusiasm that make Briar Hill such a special place.

BHS Registration
- K–6 registration is currently open to families residing in the Briar Hill School area, as well as those from outside the area.
- For families joining us from outside our designated area, thank you for your patience and understanding. We are currently awaiting the completion of central system processes and Director approval, and we anticipate this final step to be completed in the coming weeks.
- Once confirmed, 2026–27 Kindergarten families will receive an invitation to our Kindergarten Orientation in May, where we will share who we are as a school—our philosophy, beliefs, and approach to teaching and learning—while supporting a smooth transition for students and families. In June, families will also be invited to our Welcome to Kindergarten event, providing an additional opportunity to support the transition of both incoming and current Kindergarten students for the 2026–27 school year.

Mud Kitchen Donations
- Two mud kitchens have been built and installed in the school field—much to the excitement of our students! A big thank you to the families who generously donated the sinks.
- You can see the mud kitchens HERE.
- Students have already been eagerly using the space and have been asking for additional “kitchen items” to enhance their play.
- If you have any gently used items such as cookie sheets, metal bowls, muffin tins, cooking utensils (e.g., spatulas, large spoons), or plastic bins for storage, we would greatly appreciate any donations. Items can be dropped off at the office.

- We invite all parents and community members to join us for the upcoming council meeting. This is a great opportunity to hear updates, share ideas, and be part of the conversations shaping our school.
