Dear Briar Hill Families

"Children are likely to live up to what you believe of them.” - Lady Bird Johnson.

As we move through another busy and joyful week at Briar Hill, I would like to extend a sincere thank you to our families for your continued support and partnership. We truly appreciate your help in keeping toys and stuffies at home, which helps minimize distractions and supports student focus, engagement, and learning throughout the day. Our work with students continues to be guided by the Briar Hill values of being Curious, Caring, Connected, and Resilient, and we see these values reflected daily in classrooms, on the playground, and throughout our school community. On January 29, we were proud to honour 17 students with Briar Hill Value Awards for living these values in meaningful ways. Thank you for partnering with us as we help every child grow and thrive.

WIth Gratitude,

Nathan deBoer

Principal

Thank you for helping us create a kind and fair celebration for all!

Plant Donations

  • We are inviting living things into our school! Big or small, any plant donations are welcome to help brighten our common areas—like the office, hallways, & Learning Commons. Plants not only make our spaces more inviting, but they can also improve air quality, reduce stress, & even help students focus & feel calm while learning.
  • If you have a plant you would like to donate, we would be so grateful! Please drop them off at the office.

Your Voice Matters:
