Briar Hill Families,
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."
— A. A. Milne
As we continue through the final weeks of the school year, Briar Hill has been filled with many meaningful moments that remind us what a special community we are fortunate to be a part of. Last week, we wrapped up our Elev8 Lacrosse residency, which provided students with a wonderful opportunity to develop new skills and experience the joy of the game. Highlights from the residency can be found on our Instagram page.
Wednesday was also an exciting day as we welcomed our 2026-27 Kindergarten students and to Briar Hill. At the same time, our current Kindergarten students spent part of the day learning alongside the Grade 1–2 classes, helping to support a smooth and positive transition into next year.
Thank you to the many families who have already returned library books to the Learning Commons. Your support helps ensure that our collection is ready for students to enjoy again in the fall.
This week marks an important milestone for our Grade 6 students as they complete their final Provincial Achievement Tests, including Math Part A and Part B, and prepare to celebrate their Grade 6 Farewell on Friday. We are proud of all they have achieved and look forward to celebrating this memorable occasion with our Grade 6 families.
Thank you for your continued support as we make the most of these final weeks of another wonderful year at Briar Hill.
