Briar Hill Families

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."
— Robert Brault

As we move into the final weeks of the school year, there is a great deal of exciting work happening at Briar Hill School. Our teachers have been busy preparing report cards, reviewing and updating IPPs, and planning for the many year-end learning experiences and celebrations that lie ahead. It has been wonderful to reflect on the tremendous growth, learning, and accomplishments of our students throughout the year.

June is always a busy month for families. Between sports, activities, celebrations, and end-of-year commitments, calendars can quickly fill up and the weeks seem to fly by. As we look ahead to the remainder of the school year, we encourage families to intentionally set aside time during evenings and weekends to rest, connect, and recharge. Taking time to enjoy a family meal, a walk through the neighbourhood, a visit to a local park, or simply an unhurried evening together can make a meaningful difference.

The final weeks of the school year will be busy, memorable, and full of celebration. We look forward to enjoying this special time together as a school community.

🏃‍♂️ Sports Day – June 24

  • Our annual Sports Day will take place on June 24 and is one of our favourite school traditions. This K–6 celebration brings students together for an afternoon of fun, teamwork, physical activity, and school spirit as we near the end of another successful school year.
  • To make this event a success, we rely on the support of many parent volunteers to help run activity stations and supervise events throughout the afternoon. If you are available to help, we would greatly appreciate your support. Please stay tuned for an upcoming email with volunteer opportunities and sign-up information.
