Hello Briar Hill Families,

Welcome to March. We’re looking forward to another great month at Briar Hill. Here are the updates you need for the week ahead:

Lost & Found

  • With cool mornings and warm afternoons, students often leave clothing items outside, which are put in the Lost & Found.  If your child is coming home with less than what the came to school with, please encourage them to check the always expanding Lost & Found.

Volunteers Needed

  • Ms Makkai/Ms LeVesconte's Gr. 2/3 class is going to Youth Singer School March 10-14, however they are short volunteers March 12 & 13th.  If you have your volunteer statues and are able to volunteer one, or both, days please email Ms. LeVesconte at lalevesconte@cbe.ab.ca

CUPE Strike

  • The Caretaker/Facilities worker strike continues.  We have had CBE facilities out check on the statues of the building and we continue to have daily cleaners to keep the school ready for students daily
  • Rentals continue to be cancelled, and the March 13th School Council Meeting may need to be held online. Update will be sent closer to the date.
