Hello Briar Hill Families

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and mother figures. I hope you are surrounded by loved ones today and feel honoured and celebrated for your impact on their lives.

One of our small school's many strengths, is the opportunity to build connection with each other. This was highlighted for me during our Hats On For Mental Health Assembly and last Friday's Connect Day. The assembly brought the whole K-6 community together to explore mental health, while Connect Day allowed smaller mixed groups of K-6 students to create art that will be unveiled at the Volunteer Tea. As a community, we do so much more than just attend school, we make each other better through our connections.

With gratitude,

Nathan deBoer

Principal
