As we head into the May long weekend, we hope all of our Briar Hill families enjoy some well-deserved time together connecting with family, relaxing, and getting outside to enjoy the spring weather… even if Alberta has other plans with a mix of rain and snow in the forecast!

As we move into the final stretch of the school year, we remain excited and committed to finishing the year strong. Maintaining consistent routines, clear expectations, and a strong academic focus will continue to support a positive and successful learning environment for all students in the weeks ahead.

📝 K–6 New Families Welcome

• Help us spread the word about the amazing things happening at Briar Hill School! We continue to welcome new registrations for K–6 students both within and outside of our designated area, and we currently have space available in Kindergarten with small class sizes of approximately 12 students.
• Families are encouraged to contact the office with any questions or to arrange a private tour of the school. If you know a family exploring school options, we would love the opportunity to connect with them and showcase what makes Briar Hill such a special place to learn and grow.

🎶 May 20 – Gr. 1–2 Spring Concert 🎶

• We are looking forward to welcoming families to our Grade 1–2 Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 20 at 6:15 p.m. Doors will open at 5:50 p.m. to allow families time to enter and find seating before the performance begins.
• We can’t wait to showcase the hard work and enthusiasm of our students!

🚌 Yellow School Bus Registration 2026–27

• Families are now able to apply for yellow school bus service for the 2026–27 school year through their MyCBE account. Families are encouraged to register by Sunday, June 14, 2026 to ensure students can be added to routes for the start of the school year.
• Registrations submitted after the deadline will continue to be accepted; however, processing times may be delayed and students may not be able to access bus service until mid-October. Late registrations will be assigned to the closest existing bus stop with available space.
