Briar Hill Families,

Daily there have been moments that reminded me how fortunate we are to be part of such an amazing and connected school community.

Our Grade 1–2 Spring Concert was a joyful celebration of learning, creativity, and student confidence. We are grateful to our students for sharing their talents so enthusiastically, to staff for their work in preparing the performance, and to families for filling the gym with encouragement and support.

Our Grade 5–6 students also had the opportunity to attend Camp Kindle for outdoor school. Even though, unfortunately, the camp experience was cut short, students still had meaningful opportunities to learn, connect, and grow together outside the classroom. I would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff, volunteers, and camp team for their care and commitment throughout the experience, as well as to families for their ongoing support and partnership.

As planning begins for next year, please continue to keep the school informed of any changes to your family’s enrolment plans. Your ongoing communication helps us thoughtfully prepare for the fall as we welcome new families into our community.

Thank you, as always, for your partnership, support, and the many ways you contribute to making Briar Hill such a special place for students to learn and belong.

📝 Grade 6 PATs Begin Monday

Our Grade 6 students begin writing their PATs on Monday. To support a calm and focused testing environment, the school will implement a quiet learning environment by turning off bells and minimizing hallway transitions during exam times. This is an important time for our Grade 6 learners as they demonstrate their learning and growth.
