With the recent rain, everything is turning green and Spring is in full swing. Classes are taking advantage of moving learning outside more often. At Briar Hill School, teachers have placed a high value in land-based learning and are excited to utilize our recently landscaped schoolyard area for this purpose. School Council
- One reason our school is an amazing place is because of the involvement and support of our School Council. They are an essential part of supporting the culture and direction of Briar Hill School. With all council members moving on next year, their child is graduating from our school or their two year term is complete, we are in need of replacing all positions on the School Council for the 2025-26 school year.
- Our next council meeting will be in the new school year, September 2025, where we will say farewell to existing members and vote in the new council members

Volunteer Tea
- We are excited to host the volunteer team this upcoming Friday, May 30, from 9-10 AM.
- It's not too late to RSVP if you would like to attend.
Spring Concert
- Grades 1–3 will be putting on a Spring Concert June 12 .
- Afternoon performance at 1:30 PM and an evening performance at 6 PM.
Fee Reminder:
- Briar Hill students engage in a number of field trips & school experiences throughout the year. Please visit your MyCBE Account to pay any outstanding fees as new fees are uploaded through the year.
2025-26 Kindergarten Welcome:
- Kindergarten registration is open and ongoing. Briar Hill school is in a unique position to except students out of area. With small kindergarten class sizes and half-day care provided by the Briar Hill Children's Program, located within the school, we are well positioned to support families who are looking for this level of support. Please share this information with any families that may be interested in joining the Briar Hill School community.
2025-26 Briar Casino
- We have been informed of our next casino will be next school year, November 21–22.
- We are currently looking for a volunteer coordinator for this event.
