Briar Hill Families

“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” — Robert Brault

As we head into the Thanksgiving long weekend, I’ve been reflecting on the little things that give us reason to be grateful. The changing colours of the leaves, the crisp autumn air, the warmth of a familiar conversation, and the small moments throughout the day that remind us to slow down and appreciate what’s around us.

This week, our Grade 6 students had their immunizations, we practised our safety routines with our second fire drill of the year, and we captured some smiles on Picture Day Monday! You can see a few moments from the day in our Instagram post here.

I hope the long weekend brings your family some time to slow down, enjoy one another’s company, and appreciate the little things. Happy Thanksgiving!
